Bonded Washers

Washers perform a vital role in cladding applications. It is important that washers are selected according to the requirements of the particular application. All washers are EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) backed, to give the very best possible seal, ensuring a watertight fix over the life of the construction.

A washer is used to seal head of fastener (make watertight), as an isolator or to increase pullover value. A washer must be used if a colour cap is to be fitted. A washer also gives a good indication of when under or over driving.

Galvanised Bonded Washers

Washers under or over driven are likely to cause failure. A depth sensing purpose made screwdriver should be used with nosepiece correctly set.

Rivet Caps

RC1 (colour code) For capping Bulbtite/TLR rivets 13mm OD, 11mm ID. Also used to cap wafer head screws see drywall section.
RC3 (colour code) With stalk for capping multigrip and "pop" rivets. 11mm OD with 3mm stalk diameter.

Thread Protectors

For the capping of the thread and drill point of fasteners, for protective or aesthetic reasons.

Available in white, are 25mm long for either 12g or 14g thread diameters.

TP5.5X25 for 12g (5.5mm) fasteners
TP6.3X25 for 14g (6.3mm) fasteners

But remember coloured rivets and fasteners already colour headed are available ex stock
